Greenberg Traurig Strategically Expands Litigation Practice, Adds Gregory Nylen in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY – September 10, 2019 – Gregory A. Nylen has returned to global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP as of counsel in the firm’s Orange County office and a member of the firm’s award-winning Global Litigation Practice. Nylen was a litigator in Greenberg Traurig’s Los Angeles office from 2000 to 2014 and rejoins the firm after launching a successful company. He has more than 29 years of experience litigating complex commercial cases across many industries.

Nylen handles matters across a wide range of areas, including intellectual property disputes, entertainment litigation, anti-counterfeiting enforcement for luxury brands, class action defense, food and beverage law, and general business litigation. His clients include the owners of significant intellectual properties, including copyrights, trademarks, and domain names, as well as businesses involved in sophisticated commercial litigation. Nylen earned his J.D. from University of Southern California, an M.A. in Communications Management from University of Southern California, and B.A. in Motion Picture/Television (UCLA Film School) from the University of California at Los Angeles. Greg also is a co-founder of the award-winning Barley Forge Brewing Company in Costa Mesa, California. Barley Forge was chosen as Best Brewery in Orange County by the OC Weekly and Orange County Register, and has won numerous awards for its beer, including at the Great American Beer Festival and World Beer Cup.
