NEW YORK – Nov. 17, 2020 – Chair of the Asia Real Estate Practice, Joel H. Rothstein of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP was a featured speaker at the PERE Asia Week Virtual Experience 2020, a leading annual real estate industry event in Asia organized by Private Equity Real Estate (PERE).
Rothstein planned and moderated the panel, "China – Looking Beyond the Rhetoric: Growth Opportunities Here and Now.” The wide-ranging discussion focused on the trends, opportunities, and challenges facing equity and debt investors and other market participants in Greater China. The panel specifically covered the effects of COVID-19 on fundraising and capital flows both in and out of China. The discussion also examined asset classes and sectors investors are focusing on now, as well as key strategies for successfully completing deals in the China market.
The panel featured leading experts in the Asian real estate industry.
