Greenberg Traurig advises AEW on acquisition of a portfolio of 14 logistics properties

Berlin, December 21, 2020 – Greenberg Traurig advised European real estate investment and asset manager AEW on the acquisition of the Roots portfolio. The portfolio comprises 14 logistics properties in Germany. The purchase was made through the acquisition of a fund managed by PATRIZIA. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

The properties comprise a total area of approximately 285,000 square meters and are about 96 percent leased. The portfolio includes both distribution and transshipment properties, all located in Germany's leading logistics regions of Munich, Frankfurt am Main, Stuttgart and Hamburg.

Greenberg Traurig comprehensively advised AEW on all legal aspects of the transaction.
