Dominic Draye and Rose Cordero Prey Named to 2020 Benchmark Litigation’s 40 & Under Hot List

NEW YORK – Aug. 17, 2020 Dominic E. Draye and Rose Cordero Prey of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP have been recognized on the 2020 Benchmark Litigation “40 & Under Hot List.” According to Benchmark Litigation’s website, these practitioners are among the top young talent in their respective litigation communities in the U.S. and Canada.

Draye, Litigation Practice shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s Phoenix office, has litigated at every level of the state and federal judiciary— from state trial court to the Supreme Court of the United States. His practice focuses on constitutional, regulatory, and environmental matters, and he has represented clients in both the public and private sectors. In federal appellate courts, Draye has represented clients in the Second, Fifth, Seventh, Ninth, and D.C. Circuits.

Before joining Greenberg Traurig, Draye served as the Solicitor General of Arizona, where he briefed and argued the state’s highest-profile civil and criminal appeals and served as lead counsel for several multi-state coalitions litigating over agency rulemaking in the D.C. Circuit. Prior to government service, he was a litigator in Washington, D.C., where his practice focused on legal issues and appeals. 

Prey, Intellectual Property & Technology Practice shareholder in the firm’s New York office, counsels clients on invention protection, portfolio management, patent litigation, licensing, and due diligence in the mechanical, electrical, computer science, and life science industries. Her technical hands-on experience includes researching laser welding as well as working as an apprentice electrician with IBEW #25 on Long Island, New York.

With more than 10 years of experience in intellectual property litigation involving a wide array of technologies, Prey represents clients before federal courts at the trial and appellate levels, and before the International Trade Commission. She handles post-grant proceedings in the United States Patent and Trademark Office and analyzes patent portfolios for due diligence related to mergers, acquisitions, and private equity investments.
