Barbara Kaplan to Present at American Bar Association Criminal Tax Fraud/Tax Controversy 2021 Meeting

NEW YORK– Dec. 7, 2021 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP Shareholder Barbara T. Kaplan, co-chair of the firm’s Global Tax Practice and chair of its New York Tax Practice,will participate on a panel at the American Bar Association Criminal Tax Fraud/Tax Controversy 2021 titled “Civil Enforcement Priorities,” from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 9.

The panel includes Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Department of Justice (DOJ) leadership. The panel will discuss issues of the IRS and DOJ are pursuing for civil tax enforcement, according to the conference website. The panelists include David Hubbert of the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division, De Lon Harris, Commissioner, SB/SE of the IRS, Steven T. Miller of the alliantgroup and Frank Jackson of Jones Day as moderator
