HOUSTON – Dec. 17, 2021 – Christopher L. Bell, a shareholder in the Environmental Practice of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, was awarded the American Society for Quality’s (ASQ) Richard Freund-Donald Marquart Medal.
The Freund-Marquart Medal is presented in recognition of an individual who has applied quality principles to the development, implementation, and literature of management standards, according to the ASQ website.
As part of his national and international environmental practice, Bell has advised clients around the world on environmental management; sustainability; and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters for decades, with a particular focus on building business systems aimed at achieving sustainable and credible ESG performance. ASQ’s award also recognizes his leadership role in the creation and implementation of major international standards such as ISO 14001 that have exerted a global influence and shared thought leadership on how companies manage and achieve their ESG and sustainability objectives.
