GT Phoenix Attorneys Recognized for Pro Bono and Community Involvement

PHOENIX  – April 30, 2021 –Roger Bond Choquette, an associate based in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Phoenix office, was recognized with the “Excellent Pro Bono Attorney Award” by the International Refugee Assistance Program (IRAP). The legal advocacy organization notes it is committed to helping refugees and displaced people find a safe place to call home through free direct legal representation, systemic advocacy, and litigation.

“Roger has been an impressive advocate for his client, working quickly and leveraging the resources of his firm to ensure the best chances of success for his client’s application,” said IRAP Staff Attorney Mary Dahdouh in a video statement announcing his award.

In addition, Greenberg Traurig Phoenix Associate Jorge Coss was recognized as an “Emerging Leader” on the Arizona State University (ASU) College of Liberal Arts and Sciences’ Dean’s Council. The invitation-only award recognizes recent graduates who demonstrate a commitment to community involvement and innovation in the Arizona business community.

Choquette, a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice, handles a range of real estate and corporate transactional matters. He represents Arizona businesses, as well as national and international investors in acquisition, disposition, finance, leasing, title insurance, development, and regulatory issues. 

Coss, a member of Greenberg Traurig’s Litigation Practice, was one of the first designated O’Connor Fellows at the ASU Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. He was also awarded the Alumni Association’s Outstanding Graduate award and was a Dean’s Medalist.
