Greenberg Traurig’s Thomas R. Pack Named to Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s 2023 40 Under 40 List

MINNEAPOLIS – Jan. 9, 2023 – Thomas R. Pack, a shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Minneapolis office, was recognized by Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal as a 2023 “40 Under 40” honoree.

“I am honored to be included in this prestigious list among other inspiring Minnesota leaders. I am grateful for family, friends, and colleagues who have supported my work, and I look forward to working for an even better, more diverse, inclusive, and dynamic Twin Cities community," Pack said.

Pack was selected for his community leadership roles, his substantial pro bono work, and his dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. According to the publication, the award pays tribute to local leaders under the age of 40 “who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement and a commitment to serving the community.” A panel of Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal editors reviewed hundreds of nominations to select the 2023 class and the honorees will be recognized during an award reception at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel Mar. 9.

Pack is a member of Greenberg Traurig’s Litigation Practice and focuses his practice on pharmaceutical and medical device products liability matters and complex business litigation, including litigation related to tribal nations. He has deep experience litigating cases involving FDA-regulated medical devices and has particular experience with the application of federal preemption to product liabil9y claims.

Pack is actively involved in the Twin Cities legal and business community, presently serving as a board member of Twin Cities Diversity in Practice, as secretary of the Minnesota State Bar Association, and on several other boards and committees. He also maintains an active pro bono practice in the civil rights and immigration law fields, with an emphasis on representing asylum seekers fleeing persecution on account of their LGBTQ+ sexual orientations and/or gender identities.
