Faheem Ahmed is a member of the Real Estate Finance Practice in Greenberg Traurig’s London office. He focuses on matters of real estate financing on both domestic and cross border transactions acting for bank and non-bank lenders and borrowers spanning senior and mezzanine debt and margin financing. He also has broad experience in advising funders and trustees on a range of social housing finance transactions and private placements, including secured and unsecured lending transactions, sustainability linked financing, and multi-funder refinances.

- Advised lenders on a circa £350m restructuring which included “splitting” existing syndicated loan agreements and putting in place bilateral secured facilities.°
- Advised a lender on a £75m loan facility involving loan margins linked to environmental, social and governance metrics.°

- Advised lenders on a circa £420m restructuring which included splitting an existing syndicated loan agreement and putting in place bilateral secured facilities.°
- Advised a lender in the restructure of existing loan facilities by way of a restated facility agreement totalling £200m.°
- Advised multiple UK and non-UK lenders refinancing circa £1bn facilities.°
- Advised investors on two private placements totalling £120m.°
