Gary Bellingham focuses his practice on corporate lending and general finance, including investment-grade and leveraged finance transactions and real estate finance.

Prior to joining the firm, Gary was an associate at the London office of a multidisciplinary, international law firm.



  • Advised SK Telecom in relation to a $100 million export credit financing.
  • Advised Cyfrowy Polsat S.A. in connection with a PLN 3 billion refinancing of a senior secured facilities agreement.
  • Advised Osprey Equity Partners (part of the LJ Capital Group) in relation to development finance facilities used to forward fund the construction of large out of town supermarkets.
  • Advised a real estate developer in connection with a £12.4 million Islamic financing (murabaha).
  • Advised Starwood Capital in connection with a c. £17 million investment facility used to refinance an acquisition of a retail park.
  • Advised senior lenders in connection with the £1.9 billion refinancing of a senior secured facilities agreement provided to Virgin Media.°
  • Advised Cerba Laboratories in connection with a €50 million super senior revolving credit facility and the issuance of €350 million senior secured notes.°
  • Advised Barclays Corporate, Deutsche Bank and HSBC as the lead arrangers in connection with a £70 million super senior revolving credit facility and the issuance of £250 million senior secured notes, in connection with a refinancing by the House of Fraser group.°
  • Advised consortium consisting of the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Onex Corporation in connection with UK aspects of the financing for their acquisition of Tomkins plc for approximately £2.9 billion.°
  • Advised CVC Capital Partners in connection with bank and bond LBO financing incurred in connection with the acquisition of Sunrise Communications AG.°
  • Advised the original lender in connection with a $390 million margin loan secured by shares in a listed entity.°
  • Advised Europcar on the refinancing of its UK vehicle funding facilities.°
  • Advised Aviva on a longevity swap transaction transferring £475 million in longevity-related annuity risk to the capital markets until 2018.°
