Patrick Conlon represents real estate developers, sellers, buyers, and borrowers in a broad range of real estate and land use matters, including the purchase and sale of properties, commercial and residential leasing matters, and construction and purchase financing. He drafts and reviews complex real estate transaction documents including purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, loan agreements, indemnity agreements, and other transaction documents related to multifamily and commercial transactions.

Patrick has served as land use and zoning counsel to many of the largest development projects in Jersey City and Hudson County. He has presented dozens of development and subdivision projects before a number of local planning boards, zoning boards of adjustment, historic preservation commissions, and local community groups guiding clients through the process of applying for the necessary government approvals required to keep development projects moving. He works on projects ranging from small additions to mixed-use high rise buildings.

  • Represented buyer in purchase and construction financing for a multi-family building in the Van Vorst Park Historic District in downtown Jersey City.°
  • Researched and drafted zoning interpretation letter advocating for a novel interpretation of a provision of the Journal Square 2060 Redevelopment Plan that led to an additional permitted story for a 31-story mixed-use tower.°
  • Represented condominium sponsor/developer of largest residential building in New Jersey on closing of condominium units. Represented seller in dozens of condominium closings.°
  • Drafted residential lease and commercial lease agreements for several large-scale multi-family residential buildings, including state and development specific riders.°
  • Negotiated and drafted construction staging area lease agreement between developer client and neighboring property owner for staging of construction equipment.°
