Akia Espinoza focuses her practice on international and domestic tax, estate planning, and business entity matters for high-net-worth individuals. She has experience with inbound and outbound transactions, including tax compliance effects for international and domestic matters, determination of U.S. sourced income and FDAPI and ECI effects, pre-immigration planning effects, gift tax effects, and promissory interest notes. Akia also has experience with representing high-net-worth individuals in IRS matters, including Streamlined Filing Compliance Procedures, Voluntary Disclosure Practice, and Installment Agreements.
