Ben Hanrahan is a patent attorney with wide-ranging experience in the chemical, biomedical, electro-mechanical and pharmaceutical fields. Ben leverages his engineering background from academic and corporate settings to advise clients. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Ben served as a U.S. Patent and Trademark Office patent examiner with negotiating authority in the biomedical surgery field.
Ben is skilled in drafting and prosecuting patent applications globally in a variety of technical areas including chemical, biomedical, pharmaceutical and electro-mechanical technologies. Ben has deep experience developing patent portfolio strategies across jurisdictions to create a well-ordered patent portfolio. Ben’s experience also includes inter partes review proceedings (IPRs), European opposition proceedings and patent opinion work.
