Monica S. Harris

Monica S. Harris represents financial institutions, investment managers, corporations, and shareholders in complex commercial and securities litigation matters. Monica focuses her practice on class actions, government investigations, breach of contract disputes involving commercial mortgage-backed securities, and multibillion-dollar company valuation proceedings.



  • Representation of majority bondholders and indenture trustee as plaintiffs in Delaware Court of Chancery against corporate issuer over the right of convertible noteholders to “put” over $60 million in notes to the company for par value in light of a corporate sale of assets comprising a fundamental change by the issuer.°
  • Representation of an investor at trial before FINRA alleging over $20 million in securities fraud.°
  • Representation of a real estate executive in action against her former employer regarding unpaid compensation and issues related to her restrictive covenant.°
  • Representation of a pro bono client in defense of criminal Hobbs Act charges. °
