Katy Korman focuses on business, corporate, and regulatory matters across the health care continuum, including pharmacy and collaborative care models. She regularly counsels clients on issues related to the Stark Law, Antikickback Statute, licensing, scope of practice, and other federal and state regulations.

With more than 10 years of experience as in-house counsel, Katy approaches her practice with an intimate understanding of what her clients face on a daily basis. As in-house counsel, Katy was responsible for the day-to-day legal requirements including advising on agreements with payors, vendors, pharmacies, and physicians; developing policies and procedures to support clinics; advising on health care and pharmacy marketing programs; and supervising legal and support staff as well as managing outside counsel.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Katy worked in business development and sales in the pharmaceutical and occupational health care industries.  Her business experience provides her with additional insight into her clients concerns and influences her pragmatic approach to matter resolution.
