Dr. Patrick LaBreck is a registered patent agent in the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice of Greenberg Traurig's Washington, D.C. office. Patrick’s practice focuses on U.S. and international patent prosecution, Freedom to Operate analysis, and due diligence.

Prior to practicing as a patent agent, Patrick completed his Ph.D. in Emerging Infectious Diseases at the Uniformed Services University, where he focused on characterizing mechanisms of antiseptic resistance in S. aureus. Patrick’s dissertation research was conducted in the laboratory of Dr. D. Scott Merrell. In addition to multiple first author publications, he characterized a novel conjugative plasmid in S. aureus.
