Shellee Lindstedt focuses her litigation practice on business and real estate covering a range of diverse topics, including contractual disputes, property rights, and consumer class actions. She also represents financial institutions in litigation matters in both federal and state courts. Shellee represents clients throughout all stages of litigation, and has a wide range of experience in handling discovery and dispositive motion practice.



  • Represented financial institution in defense of claims for fraud, conversion, unjust enrichment, and negligence. After filing a demurrer to the plaintiff’s complaint, the plaintiff dismissed the action with prejudice.
  • In a pro bono matter, represented a veteran of the U.S. Marines to have an erroneously-issued bench warrant recalled and get client’s probation reinstated. After several rounds of briefing, the Court granted the bench warrant recall and reinstated probation, which allowed the client to obtain backpay of veteran benefits.
  • Represented product manufacturer in state court cases involving claims for strict products liability, negligence, and breach of warranties. Representation involved the strategic use of the discovery process to protect client’s confidential information and documents. Won an opposition to a motion to compel further discovery responses, avoiding the production of proprietary documents. In another action for the same client, demurrer to a complaint based on misjoinder of the plaintiffs was sustained.°
  • Represented construction company in action involving breach of contract and fraud-based claims. Demurrer to the fraud-based claims was sustained in favor of the client.°
  • Served as second chair at a bench trial involving fraud and breach of contract claims arising out of the purchase of real property. Won a motion in limine to exclude certain evidence at trial that would have otherwise been introduced by the opposing party.°
