Katharine Malone focuses her practice on commercial litigation matters on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants. Katharine represents companies and  individuals in state and federal court in matters related to breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duties, employee mobility issues and trade secrets. Katharine also regularly counsels clients on drafting various licensing and employment agreements.

  • Represented lenders and loan servicers in FDCPA and breach of contract matters.
  • Advised clients on drafting and interpretation matters in various licensing and employee contracts, including confidentiality agreements, invention assignment agreements, and joint venture/intellectual property licensing agreements.
  • Represented various employers in single-plaintiff and class action employment matters including wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination.
  • Represented a spinal device manufacturer against claims of strict product liability, negligence, and breach of implied and expressed warranty.
