Jessica Cabral Odom focuses her practice on complex products liability litigation, with an emphasis on pharmaceutical, medical device, and other consumer products litigation. She handles products liability matters in state and federal courts, including single plaintiff actions, mass tort actions, multidistrict litigation (MDL), and class actions. She also counsels clients on product risk assessment, regulatory compliance with FDA and other federal and state regulatory bodies, adverse event reporting and product recalls. In addition, Jessica defends hospitals and physicians in complex medical malpractice actions in Georgia.

Experience

  • Obtained defense verdict in a jury trial as second chair counsel in a trucking case involving allegations of severe traumatic brain injury and permanent disability.°
  • Obtained reversal in the Georgia Court of Appeals of the trial court’s denial of partial summary judgment in a wrongful death case.°
