Paul Stanistreet is a commercial real estate lawyer with deep experience advising on a broad spectrum of real estate matters, including high value financings, office and hotel investment transactions, and regeneration development projects. He has acted for leading London residential developers and student accommodation providers on all aspects of site acquisition, financing, and disposal. Paul has also spent three years working in the real estate legal team of one of the Big Four professional service firms.



Recent notable transactions include:

  • Acted for a leading international property developer on a joint venture for the development of a former industrial waterside site in London into a scheme comprising over 1,700 new homes and an arts and cultural hub (a scheme that won Best Development of the Year at the RESI Property Week awards, Best New Place to Live at the London Planning Awards and the Grand Prix and Best Regeneration Project awards at the London Evening Standard New Homes Awards).°
  • Advised a German fund in connection with the extension of one of London’s leading shopping centres.°
  • Acted for the vendors on the sales of prime City of London office assets (including the £187.5 million sale of a 198,000 square ft office and retail site and the £160 million sale of the headquarters of a leading international law firm).°
  • Acted for funders on the refinancing of a Greenwich Peninsula hotel site and portfolios of UK airport hotels.°
