Greenberg Traurig Attorneys to Speak on Emerging Trends and Hot Topics in Medical Device Litigation

ATLANTA (June 23, 2014) – The international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP is a sponsor of the 2014 season of the DeviceTalks live interview series. Additionally, three of the firm’s attorneys will be speaking at the upcoming St. Paul event. The series launches Tuesday, June 24 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Hosted by online journal MassDevice.com, DeviceTalks gathers medtech company CEOs for an exchange of ideas, insight and contacts among the pioneers of the medical technology industry, according to the conference website. Formerly known as the Big 100, the series is held annually in Boston, Orange County and the Twin Cities.

Sara Thompson, a shareholder in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Group, will moderate the panel discussion titled “Emerging Trends and Hot Topics in Medical Device Litigation”. Christiana Jacxsens, a shareholder in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Group, and Herbert H. Finn, a shareholder in the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice, will serve as panelists for that same discussion along with Rita McConnell, Vice President and Chief Litigation Counsel of Medtronic, Inc.
