Greenberg Traurig’s Marc B. Koenigsberg Named President of the Leonard M. Friedman Bar Association

SACRAMENTO, CA (September 19, 2014) – Marc B. Koenigsberg, litigation of counsel in the Sacramento office of law firm Greenberg Traurig has been named President of the Leonard M. Friedman Bar Association. His appointment was announced at the Association’s annual dinner Sept. 3, 2014, where the keynote speaker was State Senator Marty Block, Chair of the California Legislative Jewish Caucus. The dinner was attended by members of the trial court and appellate benches, the State Legislature, and the local Bar. Greenberg Traurig was a sponsor of the event.

According to its website, the Leonard M. Friedman Bar Association, formed in late 2008, was named in honor of the late Justice Leonard M. Friedman, a prominent member of the Sacramento Jewish community and jurist who served on the Sacramento County Municipal and Superior Courts, as well as on the California Court of Appeal, Third Appellate District. The Association’s mission is to serve as an educational resource, voice and forum for Jewish attorneys and judges on issues relating to the practice of law, the courts and the community.
