ATLANTA – Oct. 30, 2015 – Greenberg Traurig Shareholder David Long-Daniels will be speaking at the National Business Institute’s (NBI) Advanced Employment Law seminar. The live seminar takes place Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, GA. Long-Daniels will speak at this program on deciphering FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation issues.
According to the NBI website, this program on how to confidently tackle advanced employment disputes will inform attendees on how to avoid inadvertent violations of state and federal regulations. Long-Daniels’ panel will address current developments in ADA, FMLA, and workers’ compensation; updating ADA Policies for the ADAAA; how the three interact with each other and state laws; tips for drafting policies to work together; troubleshooting complex leave of absence issues; drafting policies for medical leave; and knowing when and how to settle federal and state claims.
Long-Daniels, co-chair of the firm’s Global Labor & Employment Practice and chair of the Atlanta Labor & Employment Practice, is known for his innovative approaches to difficult, high-stakes labor and employment cases.
