Well, it turns out you can go home again, professionally speaking. Vicki Kennedy has returned to her old law firm, Greenberg Traurig, and the delighted partners threw a welcome-back party Wednesday night in Washington.
At the Boston opening of the Edward M. Kennedy Institute in March, one of Vicki Kennedy’s former colleagues urged her to resume practicing law, something she gave up a few years after marrying Edward Kennedy, the senator more commonly known as Ted, in 1992.
“I was happy every day that I was here,” she told the crowd gathered in the L Street offices. “I wondered, ‘Could that happen again?’” Her answer? Yes.
