Greenberg Traurig’s Evan Holden Named to DRI Young Lawyers Steering Committee; Also Named Sponsorship Chair and Liaison to Drug and Medical Device Committee

ATLANTA – Aug. 13, 2015 – Evan Holden, an associate in the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Atlanta office, has been named a member of Defense Research Institute’s (DRI)Young Lawyers Committee’s 2015-2016 Steering Committee. Holden will also serve as sponsorship chair and as a vice-liaison to the DRI Drug and Medical Device Committee. Holden previously served as the Young Lawyers liaison to DRI’s Trial Tactics Steering Committee.

According to DRI, it is the leading organization of defense attorneys and in-house counsel. DRI is host to 30 substantive committees whose focus is to develop ongoing and critical dialogue about areas of practice. The Young Lawyers Committee is made up of lawyers practicing across every substantive area within the defense bar. The Committee's mission is to provide its members the best professional development, quality CLE programs, and networking opportunities of any legal organization.

Holden is a member of the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Practice. He  concentrates his practice on complex product liability litigation, with a focus on representing manufacturers of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, heavy equipment, and consumer products in both state and federal courts, including multidistrict litigation (MDL) and consolidated state court litigation. He obtained his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2008 and his B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College in 2005.

The Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Practice is an integral part of the firm’s 600-plus member national Litigation Practice.
