Greenberg Traurig’s Robert Grossman and Barry Schindler to Speak at AgriVest Conference in Israel Sept. 27

REHOVOT, Israel – Sept. 27, 2016 – Robert L. Grossman, co-chair of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Israel Practice, and Barry J. Schindler, co-chair of the firm’s Global Patent Prosecution Group, are speaking at the AgriVest conference in Rehovot, Israel Sept. 27. Greenberg Traurig is a platinum sponsor of AgriVest, which showcases Israeli agtech to international investors and industry leaders.

Schindler will judge presentations by selected Israeli agtech start-ups at 2:10 p.m. Grossman will be part of a panel discussing the trends in Agtech investment at 4:30 p.m.

Schindler has wide-ranging patent experience in food technology, working with start-ups as well as Fortune 500 companies. He has sophisticated research and engineering technical experience in agri-relevant areas. Prior to becoming an attorney, Schindler received his B.S. with a dual major in chemical engineering and food science from Cornell University. He is also an active member of and lecturer with Institute of Food Technologists and American Institute of Chemical Engineers.

Grossman is an M&A and Securities attorney who spends much of his time in Israel, and has a broad depth of experience representing agribusiness and agtech clients. Taking companies public, handling private offerings, acquiring and selling companies, and serving as a business advisor – he has led transactions ranging from under $1 million to $10 billion. Grossman is known for bringing a practical business-oriented approach to all work, focusing on accomplishing his clients' objectives effectively and efficiently.
