SAN FRANCISCO – July 24, 2017 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Maria Sendra, in coordination with the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel, presented two lunch CLE programs titled “Business and Management Best Practices for the Deal Lawyer and Company Counsel in the Next Era of Unprecedented Technological and Global Scaling.” The programs took place on July 18 in San Francisco and on July 20 at the firm’s Silicon Valley office.
Sendra discussed best practices in structuring and negotiating agreements revolving around undefined technologies. Her presentation highlighted how businesses will be impacted by each wave of unprecedented technologies growth in some way —Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, predictive analytics, autonomy, and blockchain, amongst others.
