Greenberg Traurig Germany advises Gruner + Jahr on the acquisition of eat-the-world

Berlin, 23 August 2017 - Greenberg Traurig Germany advised Gruner + Jahr on the acquisition of 100 percent of the shares of eat-the-world, a company registered in Berlin. Being a platform for guided culinary and cultural city tours, eat-the-world complements Gruner + Jahr’s business activities in the field of food and living. Both parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.

Eat-the-world was founded in 2008 and operates in 35 German cities, where participants learn more about the culinary history and culture of specific quarters. Greenberg Traurig Germany advised Gruner + Jahr on all legal issues relating to the acquisition.

Background:
This was the first time that Greenberg Traurig Germany assisted Gruner + Jahr with a transaction.
