Alan N. Sutin and Ed Chansky to Speak at the 2018 Brand Activation Association’s Annual Marketing Law Conference

NEW YORK – Nov. 8, 2018Alan N. Sutin and Ed Chansky, shareholders in the New York and Las Vegas offices at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will speak at the Brand Activation Association’s (BAA) Annual Marketing Law Conference Nov. 7 – 9 at the Downtown Chicago Marriott Hotel. Greenberg Traurig is also a sponsor of this year’s conference. 

On Nov. 8, Chansky will moderate the “Cause Marketing” panel, focusing on the latest compliance for cause-marketing programs, charitable sales promotions, donations at checkout, and free-action programs. The same day, Sutin will speak on the “Issues: Data in the Context of Marketing Post-GDPR” panel, which will examine the complexities of conducting global data analytics and marketing programs in an environment where a growing number of jurisdictions are adopting stringent regulations with significant penalties for non-compliance.

BAA’s 2018 Marketing Law Conference brings together leading brands and law firms at the industry’s most important marketing and advertising law conference. According to the BAA website, the conference will feature more than 135 speakers, 65 sessions, and 15 roundtables providing the best hands-on legal and practical marketing and advertising law guidance.
