Orlando, FL – Feb. 27, 2018 - Jonathan M. Perry, a shareholder in the Real Estate Practice of Greenberg Traurig, P.A. Orlando office, received the Personal Empowerment Individual Award by the Central Florida Urban League as part of the League’s annual Cornerstone Awards ceremony. The Personal Empowerment Award is presented to an individual that has positively influenced personal development, achievement and opportunity for success in the Central Florida community.
Perry was recognized by the Central Florida Urban League with this distinction during the League’s Annual Cornerstone Awards Breakfast Ceremony Feb. 23 at the Citrus Club in downtown Orlando. In addition to Perry’s Personal Empowerment Award, the League also presented awards in the areas of economic empowerment, health empowerment and youth empowerment.
Following the event, Cornerstone Award honorees were invited to attend and be recognized at the Central Florida Urban League Gala & Reception Feb. 24 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel. The gala is the organization’s largest fundraising event and supports efforts in the three areas of empowerment that are the cornerstones of the Central Florida Urban League: education, economic empowerment and career development.
