Kelly Dobbs Bunting Appointed to Key ABA Labor & Employment Committee

PHILADELPHIA – Sept. 7, 2018 – Continuing her years of service to the American Bar Association (ABA), Kelly Dobbs Bunting, a shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Philadelphia office, accepted re-appointment to the ABA’s Section of Labor and Employment Law’s Revenue & Partnership Development Committee, for the second year in a row.

Bunting continues her work as one of three vice chairs for the committee, which is part of the section’s finance group. Her yearlong appointment runs through Aug. 31, 2019.

This latest role deepens Bunting’s leadership within the ABA. She also serves as a member of the steering committee for the International Law Section, International Employment Law Committee. She was recently listed in the 25th Edition of The Best Lawyers in America for her work in Litigation – Labor and Employment, and recognized by Who’s Who in Labour & Employment 2018.

Bunting co-chairs the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice’s Workforce Compliance & Regulatory Enforcement Group. She regularly litigates federal and state class and collective actions, defending employers nationwide against wage and hour violations, discrimination, harassment and whistleblower claims, breach of employment agreements and more. Her work brings her before federal, state and municipal agencies, from the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the U.S. Department of Labor to local human relations commissions.

Her practice includes advising multinational clients on effective workforce policies and practices as well as compliance. A regularly requested speaker, Bunting is a member of the Philadelphia office’s Labor & Employment Practice, ranked first-tier by U.S. News-Best Lawyers.
