Kelly Dobbs Bunting to Speak at ABA Section of International Law Spring Meeting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – April 5, 2019 – Labor & Employment Shareholder Kelly Dobbs Bunting of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP will speak at the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of International Law’s Spring Meeting April 11 in Washington, D.C. Bunting will speak on a panel titled, “The Accidental Tourist: How Domestic Laws may Affect Global Employment Policy and Practice,” which will  examine the challenges and pitfalls of exporting “standardized” employment policies and practices.

The panel plans to focus on expat employees, equity compensation plans, and other benefits and compensation that may be difficult to “localize,” as well as differing rules affecting termination.  Key Issues will include:

The ABA Section of International Law focuses on a full range of international legal issues and is involved in a wide variety of substantive legal activities.

Bunting is a member of Greenberg Traurig’s Labor & Employment Practice and co-chair of its Workforce Compliance & Regulatory Enforcement Group. She handles a variety of employment litigation and counseling matters on behalf of employers around the world, including wage and hour class and collective actions; discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and whistleblower litigation; non-competition, non-solicitation, FCPA, and compliance issues; and L&E due diligence, employment, and secondment agreements.
