Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Danielle N. Garno Speaks About Influencer Marketing at Apparel Textile Sourcing Trade Show

MIAMI – June 7, 2019 – Danielle N. Garno, a shareholder in the Miami office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A. participated in a panel discussion on May 29 at the 2019 Apparel Textile Sourcing Miami (ATSM) trade show. The event connects the southeastern United States, North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean to the international marketplace for apparel, textiles, and fashion.

Held this year in Miami from May 28-30, the ATSM is considered a source of innovation, education, and resources for the textile industry trade. It brings international apparel, textile, and fashion manufacturers to the United States to meet with buyers, sourcing professionals, designers, importers, distributors, and business owners from brands and retailers.

Garno was a member of the “Power of Digital Influencer Marketing and Celebrity Partnerships” panel, where she discussed influencer marketing as one of the newest and most effective forms of social media marketing being used by brands, retailers, designers, and marketing professionals. The panel covered how to find and contact influencers, unique ways to incorporate influencers into marketing strategy, how to track results, and legal factors to consider.

“The influencer marketing panel was a great opportunity to discuss the many ways in which social media influencers are impacting a wide range of fashion brands and fashion professionals in their efforts to market their products worldwide,” Garno said. “The ATSM was the perfect venue for the discussion, as is brings together so many international leaders in the trade to meet, network, and learn.”

Her white-collar practice includes defending corporations against federal and state indictments, as well as internal investigations and negotiations with various federal and state agencies.
