Greenberg Traurig advised a fund managed by Ares Management on the acquisition of a portfolio of 2,900 residential units in Germany. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
The residential units are located in large German cities such as Berlin, Leipzig, Essen and Dortmund. The portfolio comprises large residential complexes as well as classic turn-of-the-century buildings. Most properties are within close proximity of each location’s city centre. The portfolio’s total lettable area amounts to approximately 210,000 square meters.
