Anna H. Morzy, Jay Ruby Named National Law Journal 2020 Immigration Law Trailblazers

WASHINGTON, D.C. – June 8, 2020 Anna H. Morzy and Jay Ruby, shareholders in the global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Immigration & Compliance Practice, were each recognized by the National Law Journal (NLJ) with the 2020 Immigration Trailblazer award. The award recognizes movers and shakers in the legal industry who have made an impact in their sector through new strategies and innovative court cases. Morzy has a broad background in providing legal and policy guidance on fast-evolving immigration laws, regulations, and policies, and in the development and execution of complex, industry-tailored mobility programs. With over 25 years of experience, Ruby represents businesses of all sizes before the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services, Department of Labor, and Department of State regarding applications and petitions for nonimmigrant and immigrant work visas and permanent resident status. He also advises employers on immigration compliance and strategies related to corporate restructurings, mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, and downsizing. Ruby has particular expertise with H-2B temporary visas for seasonal and peak-load workers for employer in the  hospitality, landscaping, construction, golf course industries.
