Greenberg Traurig’s Arleen Nand Moderates LSTA CLE Webinar on ESG Outlook for 2021

MINNEAPOLIS – Jan. 27, 2021 –  Arleen Nand of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP  will moderate the LSTA CLE webinar, “The Dawn of a New Era for ESG,” Tuesday, February 2 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm (ET).  

Other panelists include Marilyn Ceci, Managing Director, Global Head of ESG Debt Capital Markets, J.P. Morgan; Sabrina Fox, Chief Executive Officer, European Leveraged Finance Association; Charlotte Peyraud, Vice President, Sustainable Banking Americas, Credit Agricole; and Tess Virmani, Associate General Counsel & Executive Vice President, Public Policy, LSTA.

The speakers will discuss how environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) criteria continue to play a prominent role in shaping investment strategies. They will also forecast potential developments in ESG, including sustainable finance and market trends, calls for greater ESG disclosure, and standardization of ESG data.

Nand is chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Global Agribusiness Practice. She represents commercial, cooperative, development and investment banks, as well as hedge funds, private equity firms, and corporations in cross-border and domestic financings. Nand has structured, drafted, and negotiated more than $40 billion of investment grade, leveraged finance and commercial paper transactions.  She is also a fellow of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers and a co-chair of the International Commercial Law Subcommittee for the American Bar Association’s Uniform Commercial Code Committee.
