Greenberg Traurig Advises US company Inpixon on Acquisition of Industrial IoT Provider IntraNav

Greenberg Traurig advised technology company Inpixon (Nasdaq: INPX) on the acquisition of IntraNav GmbH. IntraNav is an industrial internet of things (IIoT), real-time location system (RTLS) and sensor data service provider. According to Inpixon, the acquisition is intended to strengthen its growth in the IIoT market. The parties agreed to not disclose the purchase price.

Inpixon said it plans to complement its own RTLS product line using IntraNav's RTLS IoT platform. The location-aware technologies are developed to help companies realize the benefits of Industry 4.0 including smart factories, smart logistics centers, virtual manufacturing, paperless factories, and digital supply chains. IntraNav's customers include large enterprises such as Siemens Energy, TB International, Festo or PERI.

Greenberg Traurig comprehensively advised Inpixon on all legal aspects of the transaction including corporate, intellectual property, labor law and tax issues.

Background: Greenberg Traurig has already advised Inpixon on several cross-border M&A transactions. Most recently, the firm advised the US company on the acquisition of augmented reality technology from Visualix.
