Greenberg Traurig advises Angelo Gordon and Kintyre on acquisition of Park Center Treptow in Berlin

Greenberg Traurig advised a joint venture between Angelo Gordon, a global alternative investment manager, and real estate investor and asset manager Kintyre on the acquisition of Park Center Treptow. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

The Greenberg Traurig team provided comprehensive advice to the joint venture partners on all legal aspects of the transaction by way of a share deal.

Park Center Treptow comprises 28,000 square meters and currently has a primary focus on retail. Angelo Gordon and Kintyre note they plan an extensive capital investment and repositioning of the property. As a result, a mixed-use, inner-city property is to be developed close to the Treptower Park. Through the transaction, Kintyre says it is continuing its strategy of building a portfolio of well-located urban regeneration and development projects.
