Greenberg Traurig’s Tracy Gerber Joins American Employment Law Council

WEST PALM BEACH – Sept. 20, 2021 – Tracy L. Gerber, co-managing shareholder in the West Palm Beach office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., has become a member of the American Employment Law Council (AELC), an organization of high level labor and employment attorneys practicing on the management side.

AELC serves as a meeting ground for lawyers committed to professional excellence in the representation of American employers. Membership is by invitation only to accomplished lawyers whose practice “principally involves the representation of an employer or employers at a significant level of responsibility,” according to its website.

The council organizes an intensive three-day seminar where senior partners in major law firms and top in-house counsel share defense techniques and other tips. Throughout the year, AELC offers educational webinars and monthly member roundtable sessions about current challenging issues.

Gerber is co-chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Broker-Dealer Securities Litigation Practice and is also a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice. She regularly defends major Wall Street brokerage firms, investment banks, and other public companies in a wide variety of employment disputes in arbitration before administrative agencies, and in state and federal courts nationwide. Gerber has substantial cross-over experience in the regulatory and sales practice arena, having handled numerous U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and state regulatory inquiries, investigations and enforcement proceedings, as well as customer arbitrations.
