Enjoliqué Aytch Lett leads bet-the-company litigation on behalf of drug and medical device manufacturers. Her breadth of experience managing individual, nationwide, mass tort, and multi-district litigation involves a variety of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and other products including hernia and pelvic mesh, IVC filters, insulin pumps, oxygenators, allopurinol, hair care products, construction products, tires, and military outerwear, among others.Enjolique’s experience in toxic tort litigation includes asbestos, Chinese drywall, and ethylene oxide.

Enjoliqué has also has substantial experience and background defending high-profile clients in complex commercial litigation. Enjoliqué’s experience includes all aspects of litigation, including pre-suit negotiations, developing and directing litigation strategy, managing written discovery and document productions, taking and defending expert and fact depositions, drafting and arguing motions, trial workup, and trial.

As Pro Bono Coordinator for the firm’s Miami office, Enjoliqué is passionate about service and devotes her time and efforts to professional organizations and to the community as a whole. Since 2016, Enjoliqué has served as a board member for the Federal Bar Association, South Florida Chapter, chairing the Pro Bono Committee. For almost a decade, she has been involved in Defense Research Institute (DRI) in varying capacities and currently serves on DRI’s Product Liability Committee and as Chair of DRI’s Product Liability Specialized Litigation Group. Enjoliqué mentors law students at the University of Miami, Florida International University, and St. Thomas University.

Enjoliqué is also a frequent speaker on issues related to the management of complex litigation and product liability law.

  • Favorably resolved multi-jurisdiction litigation in California on behalf of a brand pharmaceutical manufacturer defending against claims arising from “innovator liability” theory where plaintiffs alleged injuries of Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN).
  • Lead defense counsel for a hernia mesh medical device manufacturer in a high-profile MDL centralized in the District of New Hampshire against claims of strict product liability, negligence, breach of warranty, and other causes of action.°
  • Led a 20+ lawyer team representing a hernia mesh manufacturer in related state mass tort actions alleging strict product liability, negligence, breach of warranty, and other causes of action.°
  • Represented sportswear giant, Under Armour, against a declaration judgment action where opponent attempted to show that its trademarks did not infringe on Under Armour’s trademarks, and seeking the cancellation of Under Armour registered trademarks; prosecuted Under Armour’s claims for trademark infringement, trademark dilution, unfair compensation, and cybersquatting under the Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1051, et seq.°
