Robert Ransom focuses his practice on environmental risk management and mitigation in matters concerning real estate development; permitting, zoning and land use; litigation; administrative and regulatory law. He has broad experience representing clients in the acquisition, disposition, and development of real property, as well as with land use appeals and other litigation matters on behalf of property owners, developers, and utility companies.

Rob also possesses insights on the low-income housing tax credit process from a placement with the New Jersey Housing Mortgage and Finance Agency through a prestigious fellowship with the Rutgers Eagleton Institute of Politics.



  • Led a team in securing permits and approvals for South Jersey’s first outdoor beer garden.°
  • Led a team in securing Use Variance and Major Site Plan Approvals for the first phase of the Parkside Neighborhood Plan, a multi-phased development set to include some 40 new multifamily residential units and commercial space along the Haddon Avenue corridor in Camden, N.J. °
  • Represented national developers in obtaining entitlements for two new industrial parks, amounting to some 5 million square feet of industrial space.°
  • Engaged in numerous representations involving publicly-traded and private companies in connection with large-scale warehouse and distribution centers as well as fulfillment facilities.
  • Played a key role on the legal team that obtained permits and approvals for a 150-unit affordable housing project in Atlantic City, NJ.°
  • Served on the legal team that obtained permits and approvals for the development project to expand the Cumberland County Technical Education Center.°
