Tom Richardson focuses his practice on aviation finance and general corporate matters. Tom represents owners, operators, manufacturers, captive lenders, hard money lenders, private equity funds, family offices and financial institutions on virtually all aspects of the purchase, sale, financing, leasing and operation of business aircraft, UAV/drones, and fractional aircraft interests. He also advises public and privately held companies on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, spinoffs, entity formation, and state and federal gambling and gaming laws.

In addition to his corporate and aviation practices, Tom represents app developers, gaming, and gambling companies on transactional matters and legal due diligence in connection with federal and state gaming, gambling, and lottery laws.



  • Represented private bank in drafting, negotiating, and closing more than $250MM in business aviation loan transactions.°
  • Advised a lessor on its acquisition of leasing portfolio comprised of internationally registered aircraft.°
  • Represented small-cap manufacturer of commercial products in asset sale plus debt restructuring.°
