Tom Shebar has more than 17 years of experience in transactional law. He focuses his practice on cable television distribution agreements, retransmission consent agreements, mergers and acquisitions, media, data and technology licensing, and related corporate and commercial matters. In addition, Tom has experience in general corporate matters, including the structuring and creation of corporate entities, vendor, marketing and consulting agreements, and commercial real estate transactions.
Tom has broad experience in both in-house and law firm environments. His experience negotiating, structuring, and drafting complex commercial and corporate agreements and managing the content acquisition legal team for a Fortune 200 media distribution company enables Tom to understand the practical imperatives that drive his clients’ business interests and to effectively pursue those interests in deal structuring and contract negotiations.
