Candee Wilde

Candee focuses her practice on environmental matters. Since joining the firm in 2016, she has concentrated on environmental litigation, including statutory contribution and cost recovery actions. She also assists clients in evaluating environmental risks associated with property transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Candee represented the City of Philadelphia as a civil prosecutor, enforcing city code violations and handling appeals before an administrative court.

  • Representing three clients in connection with the Lower Passaic River Superfund Site. Currently defending each client in Occidental Chemical Corporation v. 21st Century Fox America, Inc., et al., in which Occidental Chemical Corporation is seeking cost recovery and contribution under the Comprehensive, Environmental, Response, Compensation and Liability Act (“CERCLA”) from more than 100 defendants.
  • Represented a client in connection with the Lower Fox River Superfund Site.
  • Advised clients in the purchase and environmental permitting of various businesses, including a Clean Fill landfill.
  • Advised clients in matters involving environmental aspects of land use, such as wetlands regulation, erosion control, and brownfields.
  • Provided regulatory counseling to corporations and developers involved in remediation of brownfield properties, including regulatory submissions and redevelopment and remediation issues.
  • Negotiated settlements of environmental liability disputes.
  • Negotiated and manuscripted pollution legal liability products on behalf of developers and corporations.
