Gregory Winter is a registered patent attorney and former biomedical patent examiner for the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He represents clients on patent litigation cases in district courts across the country and post-grant proceedings at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He drafts post-grant proceeding petitions and responses, as well as utility and design patent applications and responses to Office actions. Gregory prepares contentions and opinions relating to infringement and validity for patents across different technologies including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, and data processing, and has participated in all phases of investigation at the International Trade Commission.

In his role as a primary patent examiner at the USPTO, Gregory examined patent applications for biomedical and mechanical inventions in classes including surgery, respiratory devices, and exercise devices, including searching prior art and writing detailed Office actions regarding the patentability of inventions.
