Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances: Update on Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Federal Action

This seminar will present:

  •    Implications for property transactions, environmental liability valuation, and litigation
    •  Industry’s transition to improved PFAS chemistry and practices
    •  Developing regulatory action at the state and federal levels
    •  An overview about PFAS, including environmental occurrence

Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) are a broad class of fluorine-containing synthetic chemicals important to many industries and consumer products. EPA has announced a federal PFAS Action Plan, New Jersey has proposed its own drinking water standards, and Pennsylvania is addressing PFAS contamination through several of its programs.  Join us to learn about the challenges created by the differing and evolving regulations and strategies for managing business risks from PFAS.
