Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) are a broad class of fluorine-containing synthetic chemicals important to many industries and consumer products. EPA has announced a federal PFAS Action Plan, New Jersey has proposed its own drinking water standards, and Pennsylvania is addressing PFAS contamination through several of its programs.
