4 Firm Attorneys Included in 2013 Hot List by Lawyers of Color LLC

NEW YORK (July 26, 2013) – Four attorneys from the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP were included in the inaugural 2013 Hot List published by Lawyers of Color LLC. The list recognizes minority early-to mid-career attorneys under 40 who are excelling in the legal profession.

Included in the list are Greenberg Traurig attorneys:

  • Abdullah Malik, Associate, Corporate & Securities, Boston office
  • Tanisha R. Reed, Associate, Litigation, Chicago office
  • Natasha L. Wilson, Shareholder, Labor & Employment, Atlanta office

According to Lawyers of Color, its selection committee members from Lawyers of Color spent months reviewing nominations and researching bar publications and legal blogs to identify promising candidates. The honorees were chosen through nominations from mentors, peers, and colleagues.

According to its website, Lawyers of Color was originally founded in 2008 as On Being A Black Lawyer but now produces publications for U.S. lawyers of South Asian, Pacific Asian, Hispanic, Native American, and African heritages, as well as others. One of its core missions is the promotion of exceptional minority lawyers on its social media platforms.
