NEW YORK – Nov. 16, 2015 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP further grew its Antitrust and M&A Practices with the strategic addition of Stephen M. Pepper as a shareholder in the firm’s New York office. Before joining Greenberg Traurig, Pepper was counsel at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP.

“As we continue to grow, we are looking for premier specialists across the board to support our clients’ needs. We offer a tremendous value proposition in the M&A and private equity arena, and are continuing to invest in the practice areas necessary to support the group,” said Richard A. Rosenbaum, Chief Executive Officer of Greenberg Traurig. “Stephen’s vast experience handling complex transactions involving national and foreign authorities is an ideal fit for our platform, our clients, and our global Corporate Practice.”

Pepper has extensive experience with the antitrust requirements of mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, particularly those involving complex private equity fund structures.  His experience includes both the pre-acquisition reporting requirements of the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act and notification and approval requirements of merger control regimes worldwide.
