Greenberg Traurig’s Fred E. Karlinsky Moderates Panel at 19th Annual Insurance Forum

FORT LAUDERDALE and TALLAHASSEE, Fla.Dec. 4, 2015Fred E. Karlinsky, a shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale and Tallahassee offices of international law firm Greenberg Traurig P.A., moderated the Dec. 3 insurance commissioners panel at the 19th Annual Insurance Forum held in Chicago, Illinois. In addition to Karlinsky, participants included Commissioner Jim Donelon of Louisiana and Commissioner Sharon Clark of Kentucky. The panel discussed several pressing issues in insurance regulation, including the sharing economy, price optimization, healthcare co-ops, and other issues. 

The Insurance Forum is a national event attended by many senior insurance industry stakeholders.  Speakers include several insurance commissioners and their senior staff members, as well as industry representatives from the private sector.

Karlinsky is Co-Chair of Greenberg Traurig's Insurance Regulatory and Transactions Practice Group and a shareholder within the Government Law & Policy Group. He represents insurers, reinsurers, producers and other insurance interests throughout the U.S. and internationally in a wide variety of business, operational, regulatory, transactional and governmental matters. Karlinsky received a bachelor's degree from the University of Miami and a Juris Doctorate from the Florida State University College of Law, where he currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law.
