Greenberg Traurig’s Howard Steinberg to Speak at American Bankruptcy Institute’s Southwest Bankruptcy Conference

LOS ANGELES – Sept. 9, 2015 – Shareholder Howard J. Steinberg in the Los Angeles office of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP will speak at the American Bankruptcy Institute’s 23rd Annual Southwest Bankruptcy Conference on Sept. 11, 2015, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas. Steinberg will speak on a panel entitled “Litigation In the Bankruptcy World – Selected Hot Issues.”

This conference will feature experienced practitioners and regional judges who will present workshops on a variety of business and consumer topics. David D. Cleary, a shareholder in the Business Reorganization & Financial Restructuring Practice, is a member of the conference’s Advisory Board.

Steinberg is a member of Greenberg Traurig’s Business Reorganization and Financial Restructuring Practice and focuses his practice on representing debtors, creditors’ committees, trustees, secured and unsecured creditors, and purchasers of assets in major cases involving public and private companies throughout the United States. He has broad experience in out-of-court workouts, and is often retained to litigate "bet-the-company" cases. He is also the author of a three-volume treatise entitled Bankruptcy Litigation.
